History/Bio: Mr. AP grew up in a rough neighborhood in Cleveland, OH. He also took it upon himself to look after his family to make sure his parents and brothers and sisters were healthy and happy.

AP is a tough guy who always commands respect with his solid work ethic, honesty and integrity. Sometimes, though, he has had to command respect with his fighting ability. He's a believer in tough love and standing up for himself. He doesn't want to have to fight, but if that's what needs to be done, that's what he'll do. And he had to do that on his block, with a lot of punks that thought they could step to him without reason or cause.

He never stooped to the level using guns, selling drugs, or hustlin in any type of illegal way.

To Mr. AP, if you don't have respect, you don't have anything.

---NOW TO FILL IN THE HOLES OF THAT STORY------------------------

His dad worked long hours for low wages at a local steel mill and, when he was 13, his mom was clipped by a car that shattered her left leg. She could no longer walk without a cane after that. This made it extremely hard to care of AP and his 5 siblings. Being the oldest, Mr. AP, or Antwaan Paulson, took it upon himself to do what he could to help his family out. Running errands, paying bills, doing odd jobs to get money -- he did anything in his power to keep his family healthy and happy, within reason. His momma, bad leg or not, would have whipped him silly had he done anything illegal.

These new responsibilities didn't come easy, though, as AP was always made fun of on his block. The kids would call him names like "Momma's Boy", "Mr. Lemonade Stand" and other names that are too profane for any forum.

The first time AP ever fought was right after his mother's accident when he was 13. Before that he always took any name calling thrown at him. But when a kid told him to "get off the basketball court and go home to your crippled momma" he couldn't stand it. "What did you say?" he said. "I said go home and give yo momma a sponge bath, Momma's Boy!"

It was at that moment Antwaan Paulson realized he had a gift -- he was an amazing grappler. He grabbed the kid and quickly tripped him to the ground, locked the kid's shoulder in place and started to tweak it as hard as he could.

"You wanna say that again!?" AP screamed at him. "Don't get it twisted! I'll break it if I gotta!"

Screaming in pain, the boy quickly apologized and after a second or two of reinforced pain AP let go and walked away.

After that, Antwaan started to gain a lot of respect in his hood. He never, however, gave in to offers of local gangs or drug dealers that were always trying to get him to run with them. He'd preach respect and honor to them, although they never listened and usually made fun of him behind his back.

Nobody messed with him, though, because the times people called him out were always the times that those same people ended up with sore shoulders, necks, ankles and wrists. Sometimes they ended up a little bloody, too.

For this reason, Mr. AP was born. He earned the respect of all the kids on his block, and he commanded it, too.

Although Antwaan had the chance to go to community college after graduation from Glenville HS in Cleveland, he felt a greater need to help support his family immediately.

Recognizing his raw talent and gift for wrestling, AP reached out to SWC GM Roman Synn for a chance to make some money and get on his way to taking care of his family for life. After an accident ended SWC and after a short and uneventful run in UWF, Mr. AP looked to former UWF member Supreme Knight and the TCW to finally realize his dreams for good. AP honed his craft in six seasons with TCW, winning the Brass Knuckles title and the Contintental Tag Titles. With the disappearance of Supreme Knight, TCW ended a succesful run, and AP reached out to GM Black Spirit for a chance to continue his rise to stardom.

In the words of Mr. AP -- "If you ain't got respect, you ain't got nothin!"

Catch phrase: If you ain't got respect, you ain't got nothin!
