Superstar's History:
Semag came to GX after his former federation was disbanded by the GM. He was a member of his previous federation from its birth, but he had bounced through a couple different federations before that. He keeps his entire past before that a secret. All he has ever revealed is that he spent much time studying the technical aspects of wrestling with the best around the world, but has never told who those experts were.
His welcome into GX was a little rough, his first feuding coming against Red Bull (Season 7). Semag ended up forcing Red Bull to pass out from the pain of a submission hold in his first PPV match at Brisas de Verano in a National #1 Contender's match.
He was unable to turn that position into a title, losing to Don Tomate in his title match during his second season (Season . He was not included in the V1rTu@L 1n5@niTy PPV to end the season. Rumors had been that he would be included in the GXtreme Invitational, but those rumors proved unfounded. (PPV 1-0)
In Season 9, the season kicked off with a bang, and he found himself in the GXtreme Invi-National match, managing to take the pinfall of Don Tomate to become the GX National Champion at the beginning of just his third season in the federation. His reign was not without controversy, as Jake "The Snake" Plissken had taken out everyone in the ring and considered Semag having "stolen" the belt without even a "thank you." This led to a feud which went on to the season-ending PPV, Deadly Sins, where they had a "Gluttony: Title Vs Title" match, with both Semag's National title and Jake's GXtreme title on the line. The match ended with Semag winning via disqualification when Jake took out his anger and frustration on Semag, tying him up in the ropes and severely injuring his right leg. The feud was not yet over, but the landscape of GX was changing. (PPV 2-0)
Black Spirit vacated all titles on the first show of Season 10, announcing Gold's Rush 2. Semag found himself in the Heavyweight Tournament, failing in the first round to Don Tomate. Semag could be seen favoring his leg but refused to use it as an excuse. Following this match, the feud with Jake restarted. They were scheduled to have a match on the third eXcess of the season, but Semag surprised Jake with a prematch assault and injured one of his legs in the process, claiming "revenge" on the superstar. Their match was rescheduled for the following Obsession, where it was announced during the match that the winner would take a spot in a Triple Threat Ladder match with Sonia and Quarion for a #1 Contendership to any belt in the federation. Semag managed to pull out a victory against "The Snake", and went on to Obsessive Behavior as a massive underdog in the Ladder match. It was a hard-fought match, with Sonia managing to take a win. (PPV 2-1, Overall 6-5)
