At the end of the match, Gorbus woulnd't release his Heel Hook forcing the ref to interfere. 2Face capitalized on this and nailed Gorbus with a Bipolar Slam to win the match

Brisas De Verano (July 24th, 2009) Lord Helmchen had to win a 16-Man World Chase tourny to earn a shot at the title. At the end of the match, Jake tried to attack Lord just like Lord attacked him during his previous match. Lord capialized on the ref's distraction with Jake and nailed Quairon with a low blow and a Power Of The Juice to win the match

After Worlds Collide (June 12th, 2009) [Elimination Chamber match also including 2Face, Black Spirit, Don Tomate and Jake "the Snake" Plissken] Prior the match, Don Tomate attacked Quarion backstage to avoid him to make it to the match. 2Face also reaplaced Seamus McFamous who had left GX days befoe the PPV. During the match, Gorbus eliminated Black Spirit and Jake, just to be eliminated by 2Face. Quarion eliminated 2Face, leaving him only with Don Tomate. At the end of the match, Don went for the Arremeso de Frezes but Quarion dodged it into a Star Breaker and a Quarion Special Splash to win the belt.

Inner Nemesis (May 1st, 2009) Gorbus won a 30-Man Battle Royal at Battlefield Of Honor to earn a shot at the championship. At the end of the match, 2Face tried to leave the match with the belt and Gorbus fought him up the ramp. Thierry tried to interfere but Gorbus counterattacked just to get nailed with the belt by 2Face. Gorbus was thrown back inside the ring but Big Bull Johnson made a surprising come back and 2Face and Thierry. Gorbus locked the Gorbus Nelson on 2Face ti make him tap and win the championship.

Mercy is on Vacation (Mar 20th, 2009) [Triple Threat match, also involving Gorbus] The match started out as a single match but by the end, Seamus came our and added 2Face who had just become the number one contender at the title. 2Face nails the Coin Flip on Haqim while Gorbus was on the outside for the pinfall.

GX: Uncovered (Feb 13th, 2009) [Fatal 4-way Match also including Hunter10 and Gorbus] At the end of the match, Haqim had Don Tomate in the Dune Twist before Hunter got inside the ring and nailed everybody with chairshots. Haqim's father ran down and tried to attack Hunter but missed the shot. Hunter was abaout to hit Haqim's father but Haqim jumped him and locked the Dune Twist. Haqim's father woke the ref up just to see Hunter tapping and Haqim becoming the new champ.

Regenesis X (Dec 26th, 2008) At the end of the match, Hunter's many nearfalls made him mad and he ended up pushing the ref to the mat. The ref went outside to disqualify him but before that, a bloody Don low blew Hunter and then nailed the Arremesso De Fezes for a 2 count. Chrome Dome and Black Spirit ran down. Black Spirit laid Chrome Dome out and Don hit another Arremesso De Fezes for the GM to make the 3 count.
